How to read this report
This is an archived output from the FAA’s Air Traffic Activity Data System (ATADS), generated on August 10, 2026, for Charles M. Schulz–Sonoma County Airport (STS). Each operation represents one takeoff or one landing.
The 2024 and 2025 rows cover complete calendar years. The 2026 row covers January through June only and should not be compared directly with a full year unless an explicit projection method is used.
ATADS divides itinerant commercial activity into separate Air Carrier and Air Taxi categories. The report records 9,247 Air Carrier operations in 2024 and 10,112 in 2025, an increase of approximately 9.35%. It separately records 10,466 and 10,321 Air Taxi operations. These categories should not be combined without establishing which operations correspond to the passenger data being analyzed.
ATADS reports aircraft operations, not passenger numbers. Passenger totals must therefore be obtained separately from STS or Sonoma County and matched to the same reporting period. Any calculation of “passengers per operation” is a derived comparison, not an aircraft load factor: it may be affected by aircraft size, service mix, FAA operational classification and seat occupancy.
